Infant/toddler & 2 Year old Day Care (6weeks-36 months)

Provides a full-day program for infants and toddlers ages six weeks through two years of age. This program serves teen parents returning to school at Morton East High School. Toddler to 2 Years old Day Care available to non-Morton East High School students at our Patricia Makris Child Development Center.

Head Start (Birth-5)
Provides home based and center based programs for children from birth through 5 years. Locally designed options include half day, full day, and home visiting. U.S.D.A. food program for center based services. This program serves low income families.

HEAD START | HEAD START HOME VISITIONG | EARLY HEAD START
Preschool Child Care (3-5)

Provides a full-day program, including two meals and nutritious snack. I.D.H.S. eligibility with sliding co-payment based on income and family size. Many day care openings are "wrapped" with I.S.B.E., Pre-K or Head Start Programs. 

FULL DAY (3-5 yrs) | 1/2 DAY (3-5yrs)


School Age Child Care (K-5th Grade)
Provides a variety of educational and recreational activities for children in Kindergarten - 5th grade. I.D.H.S. eligibility with sliding co-payment based on income and family size. After school care and summer camp programs are available at various sites.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE | SUMMER CAMP

Parent and Child Together (Birth-3)
Provide parent and child activities, literacy activities, parenting workshops, toy and book lending libraries. Services at various community locations.

Birth to 3 Prevention Initiative Home Visiting (B-3 PI) | Maternal, Infant Early Childhood, Home Visiting (MIECHV) | PACES | Parent and Child Together (PACT) | TIPPS

Activities are Provided in the following areas:

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL
Getting along with both children and adults, expressing feelings in an acceptable way and learning inner control.

PHYSICAL
Using large and small muscles to promote growth and development. Constructing an environment and curriculum that supports healthy habits.

INTELLECUTAL
Gaining Skills that encourage thinking, reasoning and problem solving.

CULTURAL
Developing pride in self and family background

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
